Until 2012 the main activity of the Forum was the organization of twice-yearly meetings to allow members to meet, listen to some interesting talks, and to swap ideas.
This has now changed! We are still organising the meetings, but we are now starting to co-ordinate some projects in which various organisations in Ceredigion can work together to do research on a particular theme.
In all cases we aim to use this website as a central location where groups can publish information about their projects, both general notes and also document transcripts etc, where they will be more widely available.
The first two projects are:
A project linked to the 'Cynefin' bid by the National Library of Wales for funding to digitise and work with the Tithe maps. Our project is looking at historical pubs in Ceredigion.

With the centenary of the outbreak of World War I in 2014, many groups (local societies and larger organisations such as NLW, the County Museum and Archives etc) are planning various events and activities to commemorate the war. The Forum is looking at ways to help groups share the information they have gathered and ideas for commemorations.
